Diane Kelso has met the requirements of the Virginia Real Estate Board in securing a license as a Real Estate Broker in accordance with the Code of Virginia. Diane believes that one of the keys to success, both for herself and her clients, is a continually updated education. She takes many classes and seminars to increase her effectiveness and has earned two of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative). Nationally recognized, these designations are earned through rigorous courses of study as well as demonstrated professional experience. Personal Information
A native of New England, Diane has been a resident of the Fredericksburg area for the past 20 years. She holds a Master of Science degree (MS) from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Managerial Economics with a concentration in Accounting as well as a second BA degree in Social Welfare with a concentration in Administration from Rhode Island College.

Before her real estate and insurance careers, Diane had careers in both administration and accounting. She was Executive Director of Food Relief Clearing House Inc. in Fredericksburg and, prior to that, was the In-charge Accountant for a CPA firm. She was also Vice-President of Kelso & Associates for 15 years, working as a financial advisor. Diane's experience in the financial and accounting fields has been invaluable to the success of her real estate clients today. Her skills in attention to detail, statistical analysis, communication, organization, negotiation and customer service are finely tuned and her connections to the community and the industry are unmatched.

When not serving her clients, Diane enjoys buying and selling antiques as well as decorating and reading about health and alternative medicine.
